The Appalachian Land Study team recently collaborated with the New Economy and Land Team of the Alliance for Appalachia to host a workshop on "Land as Liberation" for the Alliance's virtual Midsummer Event, held June 29th-30th.

About 25 of us congregated in beautiful Pipestem, a mix of generations and experience coming from across Central Appalachia. It was two days of knowledge sharing, mutual inspiration, and methods training.
